Elijah is on the move...well almost. This week EJ's little body has been very active and full of energy. With more tummy time he is slowly learning how to inch his way forward. He first learned this skill crawling up Daddy's chest in search for a free land. Now this new found skill is put to use whenever he gets the chance. We have had to postpone putting the little guy to sleep in this bassinet at times because in his sleep, Elijah runs out of room and starts to cry because he keeps smushing his little head against his bassinet the wall. He also sat up all by himself for the first time this week! It didn't last too long before he toppled over, but we were able to capture a picture.
This weekend was really long for EJ. His first Sunday at chrch was full of unknown women trying to pinch his little cheeks and to steal him away from Mom & Dad. Against the utter forces of nature (a.k.a. The Relief Society) whether for good or evil, it was Daddy to the rescue.
But the highlight of the week was definitely Elijah's urges to voice his opinion. When he is really happy or relaxed, EJ will hold a full on 20 minute conversation about any topic. So if you are ever lucky enough to catch him in one of these moods, take advantage.
