Road bikes, swim suits and running shoes...

You guessed it! I'm doing a triathlon!!! I am so excited! My best gal pal is coming to A-town in September and will be joining me on Labor day to my very first triathlon!!! WAAAHHOO I am so pumped!!! Can you tell by all of my !!!!!!'s I just finished my first 2 weeks of swim training and I feel GRRREEEAT! This week I got myself a freaking saaaweeet road bike! She's beautiful! I think I will name her Candy because she is a Specialized Dolce, eh, not sure yet.

Here's my new baby. We're getting ready to ride to the pool!
Man, biking with a mountain bike just wasn't tickling my toes, but now that I have Candy I'm really gearing up for this race. I'm having so much fun! And Jared is so great and supportive of giving me my own "me time"! Isn't life grand?!
Here's the Austin Triathlon info in case you were curious. Stay tuned...
Alright, enough about me. Elijah is now 30 weeks old! Can't believe how fast time flies! This week he popped teethes 5 & 6. I wish I had pictures to show, but this little dude just doesn't let me take pictures of his pearly whites. Soon though.
Baby Peter came to visit Baby E! They're so cute together haha.
I love this next picture. Elijah looks like he's wondering why another baby is playing with his toy. lol.

Life is good! EJ is growing, we're all so healthy. We can't complain.

Baby E turns 7 months

Yesterday Elijah surprised us by starting to army crawl! It's fun and exciting, but at the same time, it'll be interesting seeing him get into things. Here's a fun little video..

Week 29

It's about time! EJ has finally started to like solid foods. We've been trying to feed him solids for a month, and he's always fussed and cried over it. Apparently he likes carrots and apple sauce. Yeepee. He also started army crawling this week! Today I also noticed that he is starting to sprout teeth 5 & 6. Cuutttiiie!

We've been making a lot of banana splits and yummy deserts recently. Here's a tiny little delight we enjoyed while watch Prisoner of Azkaban.
We made some Eggplant Parmesan from the delicious eggplants we got from the farmers market. To set the record straight, Jared indulged me with this yummy treat one night after coming home from work. If you haven't had Eggplant Parmesan stop dinking around and make some! It's super good!
Here we have Mr. Elijah army crawling toward his green ball.
Just enjoying some laughs! I love my little guy!

Week 28

This has been a pretty chill and low pro week for all of us. Work has been picking up for me and we continue to move forward. The most exciting this that's happened is that I've found a Water Polo club to join!!! It's SUPER exciting! I got to go yesterday for the first time. I haven't scrimmaged in over 5 years. This club team is compiled of mostly guys and 3 other girls (one played for UCSB, another for UCDavis and the third played at a comm. college -YIKES!) Let's just say a got my A worked! It was so much fun to go out and (try) to get back into it. I'll keep you all posted how that goes lol
These two are just some cutie pie pictures...

For some reason Eli really like my smoothies! I made an all red beet, peaches, banana smoothie and he wouldn't stop fussing til I let him have the tail end of it. Haha. He guzzled as much as he could down.

Baby and daddy enjoying some Saturday afternoon grub.

We got to our first Austin street farmers market. It was pretty fun and of course weird.
