We've officially decided to go with a nurse midwife for care of our pregnancy. After much thought and research we feel that it is the best route for us. Our midwives name is MariMikel Penn. She has been delivering beautiful healthy babies for over 30 years, in that time she has delivered over 3,000 babes! WOW! She's crazy, brilliant, loving, educated and full of energy. Just perfect for us!
Today we had a short visit with MariMikel in hopes to hear our growing babies heartbeat! At 11 weeks pregnant our lil miracle let us hear his/her strong heartbeat at 180 bpm. Jared's face was priceless!
At 11 weeks this lil one is about 1 1/2 inch long
